Working Hands Websites builds websites for tradespeople. When we call a business, we sometimes offer to text the owner a link to the preview website we made for them. We only text you if you say yes on the call. This page explains how that works.
How you opt in
We never text a number cold. On a phone call, our caller asks whether we can text you the link to your preview website, and says the text will come from Working Hands Websites. For example:
"Can I text you the link to the website I made for you? It'll come from Working Hands Websites, and you can reply STOP anytime."We only text you if you clearly say yes. If you say no, or don't answer, we read the link out or email it instead. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything.
The first text we send confirms what you agreed to: who we are, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and that you can reply HELP for help or STOP to stop at any time. These terms are always on this page, and our privacy policy is at workinghandsweb.com/privacy.
Example conversation
Caller: "Hi, is this Mike? It's Daniil from Working Hands Websites. I build websites for tradespeople, and I made a preview website for Hartwell Plumbing Co. Want to take a look?"Owner: "Sure, but I'm driving."
Caller: "No problem. Can I text you the link to the website I made for you? It'll come from Working Hands Websites, and you can reply STOP anytime."
Owner: "Yeah, text me."
Caller: "Sending it to this number now. Have a look when you're parked."
How we record your consent
Right after the call, the caller saves a record on your contact in our customer system (LeadConnector): the phone number you agreed to, the date and time, the caller's name, and your answer. We keep the record for as long as we may text you, and for 12 months after the last text.
What we send
- One text with the link to the preview website we built for your business. It also confirms that you agreed to texts and how to stop.
- Replies to texts you send us, and a reminder before a callback you booked.
We don't send offers, prices, newsletters or promotions by text.
Example first text (the confirmation):
"Working Hands Websites: Hi Mike, it's Daniil. Thanks for the call. As agreed, here's the website I built for Hartwell Plumbing Co.: https://workinghandsweb.com/examples/plumbing Msg frequency varies, msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."Example reminder:
"Working Hands Websites: Hi Mike, it's Daniil. I'll call you at 5:30pm today as agreed about your website preview. Reply STOP to opt out."How often
Message frequency varies. Usually 1 to 3 texts in total, around a call you agreed to.
How to stop or get help
- Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts. We confirm with one final message and send nothing after that.
- Reply HELP for help, or email hello@workinghandsweb.com, or call (832) 900-3262.
- Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply to STOP:
"Working Hands Websites: You're unsubscribed and won't get more texts. Reply START to resubscribe."Reply to HELP:
"Working Hands Websites: For help email hello@workinghandsweb.com or call (832) 900-3262. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."Your number stays with us
